Terms of Use
1. Our role
The Business Board is an advertising platform. We do not act as a business broker, real estate agent or party to transactions. Buyers and sellers deal directly after enquiry and should obtain their own legal, financial and professional advice.
2. No brokerage or agency
We do not represent buyers or sellers, negotiate on anyone's behalf, value businesses, hold deposits, or take part in any sale. Any agreement is made directly between the parties involved.
3. Seller responsibilities
- You must be the owner of the business, or be authorised to advertise it.
- You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of everything you submit, including any financial information.
- You must comply with all laws that apply to advertising and selling the business.
4. Buyer due diligence
Listings are provided by sellers or their representatives. We do not verify listing information. Buyers must carry out their own due diligence and obtain independent legal, financial and professional advice before making any decision.
5. Moderation and removal
All listings are reviewed before publication. We may edit formatting, decline, suspend or remove any listing or content at our discretion, including where we believe it is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful or inappropriate.
6. No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee that a listing will receive enquiries, that a business will sell, or any particular outcome from using the platform.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not submit false, misleading or infringing content.
- Do not use enquiry details for any purpose other than the relevant business opportunity.
- Do not scrape, spam, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the platform.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the platform or from dealings between buyers and sellers.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.
