When you submit a listing we collect your name, email, phone number, your role, and the business details you provide (including any confidential business name and photos). We use this to review, publish and manage your listing, and to pass buyer enquiries to you. Your contact details are not shown publicly.

Information from buyers

When you enquire about a listing we collect your name, email, phone, city, your message and whether you are actively looking to buy. We store this so it can be passed on.

Why we collect it

To operate the advertising platform: moderating listings, connecting buyers with the relevant seller, responding to messages, and keeping the platform safe.

Sharing enquiries

Your enquiry is shared with the seller of the listing or their authorised representative (such as a franchisor or licensed broker) so they can respond to you directly. We do not sell your personal information.

Marketing — only with separate consent

Sending an enquiry or submitting a listing does not sign you up to marketing. We only send marketing, such as new businesses matching your interests, if you tick the separate optional box asking for it.

Unsubscribing

You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by contacting us.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Please send a request through our contact form and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
